Andy Main vs. Brian Kelleher named CFFC 34 co-main event

New Jersey’s Andy Main (7-1) will return to the Cage Fury Fighting Championships’ cage to take on fellow featherweight, Brian “Boom” Kelleher at CFFC 34 at the Mennen Arena in Morristown, N.J. on  April 19.

Most recently, Main collected a draw with Aira Okada at Pancrase 256. Previous to that, Main earned a majority decision over Hiroki Aoki in his Pancrase debut.

Main last fought for the CFFC over a year ago when he defeated Sylvain Bynum at CFFC 19.

Main was on season 12 of “The Ultimate Fighter” and was a part of team Koscheck. Main was eliminated from the show after being submitted by Kyle Watson in the second round.

Kelleher snapped a two fight win streak at CFFC 31 where he submitted Lester Caslow in the second round.

Previous to the impressive victory, Kelleher lost back-to-back decisions to Jeff Smith and  CFFC featherweight champion, Scott Heckman. Kelleher is a six time CFFC veteran and has a total record of (3-3) under the CFFC banner.

This featherweight match-up will be featured as the evening’s co-main event. Main’s teammate and current CFFC flyweight champion, Sean Santella will look to defend his strap in the main event against Nick Honstein.
