Rick “The Gladiator” Glenn (13-2) put on a tremendous performance last time he fought at the Revel hotel and casino in Atlantic City, New Jersey. “The Gladiator” took on Alexandre Pimental at World Series Of Fighting 2 earlier this year in March. Pimental was a highly talked about prospect, but Glenn disposed of him via KO in the final round. Glenn has received a lot of hype since then, but has kept improving at Roufus Sports Academy alongside UFC’s Erik Koch, Chico Camus, and current UFC lightweight champion, Anthony Pettis. Glenn has not been defeated in 11 consecutive fights.
Tonight, Glenn takes on former CFFC featherweight champion Artur Rofi in the main event of the preliminary card. Rofi is (6-0), never has been defeated and never has gone to a decision. Glenn told www.njmmanews.com “I am better everywhere, I’ve been putting in the work mentally and physically.” Glenn also stressed that although Rofi is undefeated, he is much more experienced fighter than Rofi and it’s going to show in this fight.
Glenn said he finds motivation through his teammates. just a few weeks ago, Glenn saw his main sparring partner, Anthony Pettis win the UFC championship strap inside the Bradley Center. “To see him become a world champion, it just gives you that much more fuel” said Glenn. Glenn is actually coming into this fight as the favorite, much different than the last time he stepped into the WSOF cage. He is a young 24 year-old fighter who trains with some of the very best in the world and looks to continue his path to becoming the best tonight, by defeating Rofi.
