Clay Guida received a vast amount of criticism after his performance with Gray Maynard at UFC on FX 4. Many fans and critics questioned Guida’s game plan. Even UFC president Dan White was vocal on the situation and criticized Guida for moving away from Maynard throughout the fight. Guida was upset with the decision, believed he won the fight fair and square. It was the judges that disagreed, handing Guida a decision lost. Now Guida is starting a new chapter in his life, what is that you ask? Clay will be moving down to the featherweight division. The UFC featherweight division is in need of some new talent, although he is a long time veteran of the UFC he has not competed in the UFC’s featherweight division.
