After having a remarkable UFC debut, Brandon Thatch will meet long-time UFC veteran, Paulo Thiago at UFC Fight Night 32 in Brazil. At UFC Fight Night 27: Condit vs. Kampmann, Thatch had an impressive knockout victory over Justin Edwards, just over a minute in the very first round. The finish victory earned the UFC new-comer “Knockout of the Night” honors, earning him $50,000. That marked his ninth strait win in a row, eight of those on the regional circuit. He is a highly talked about prospect who so far has lived up to his hype inside the octagon.

This time Thatch takes a step up in competition as he takes on the very experienced, Paulo Thiago. Thiago has 10 fights inside the octagon, earning  wins over Josh Koscheck, Mike Swick, and many others,  Thiago has not been the most impressive  lately, ending a (1-4) skid with a decision over Michel Prazeres. Thiago was supposed to fight TUF 17 winner, Kelvin Gastelum, but injury sidelined Thiago.
